Dr. Shoeb Rashid Sayyed is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics. He has 11 years teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. Degree from the Department of Mathematics, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, Raigad, Maharashtra. He has qualified SET examination for lectureship and NET examination with CSIR-JRF. He has done his Master degree in Mathematics from Department of Mathematics, Savitribai Phule Pune University formerly known as University of Pune, Pune with first distinction. He has obtained his bachelor degree in Mathematics from University of Pune, Pune (Ahmednagar College, Ahmednagar) with first and distinction.
He joined Doshi Vakil Arts College and G.C.U.B. Science & Commerce College in the year 2012. Since then he teaches students at the undergraduate level. He taught Mathematical and Statistical Techniques-I &II, Calculus-I, II & III, Multivariable Calculus-I, Algebra, Linear Algebra-I & II, Discrete Mathematics, on Operations Research (Management Science), Ordinary Differential Equations and Numerical at First Year of Bachelor of Commerce and first & second years of Bachelor of Science courses. He believes in the concept of “learning-by-doing” and adopts the same through his learning pedagogy.
His research interest is in the field of Fluid Dynamics specifically in Boundary Layer Theory, and has various publications to his credits in the reputed International Journals and leading International Conferences. He is one among the editors of the book titled “On the Fundamental Concepts of Fluid Flows”.
