English Language and Literature Association is a part of English Department and aims to foster creativity of the students by proving opportunities to exhibit their creative skills. It helps to promote communication skills of students and help in team work, ability to speak and emote before an audience thereby increasing the emotional quotient of the students. It conducts the following activities throughout the year: Elocution Competition, Debate Competition, Essay Writing, Book Review, Creative Writing, Story Telling, Quiz Competition, Vocabulary Building, Group Discussion, Newspaper Reading, How to use dictionary, How to use thesaurus, Film screening, etc. The students participate in these competitions enthusiastically and the winners are awarded prizes as an encouragement.
